GlobalPort signs free agent guard Marvin Cruz

Former University of the Philippines point guard Marvin Cruz is making a PBA return after being signed by the GlobalPort Batang Pier.
GlobalPort team manager BJ Manalo confirmed the deal to InterAKTV.
Cruz, who spent the past season with the Bangkok Cobras in the ASEAN Basketball League, is expected to shore up the Batang Pier’s point guard spot after they lost JVee Casio in a trade that brought back Willie Miller.
The 5-foot-8 lefty guard last played in the PBA in the 2010-11 season with Barako Bull.
