THERE won’t be any additional sanctions on Far Eastern University enforcer Arvie Bringas.
La Salle representative Henry Atayde, a member of the UAAP technical committee, said on Friday the board had no sufficient evidence to slap additional penalties on Bringas, who was banned for one game by the school on top of a one-game ban meted by the league for spitting on the face of Ateneo’s Justin Chua.
Ateneo had sought further penalties on Bringas, claiming the Tamaraws enforcer approached the Eagles' team bus after the game in the company of a couple of friends and challenged an Ateneo player to a fight.
“We need further information as to what really happened like affidavits from players and MOA Arena security,” said Atayde.
