Yancy de Ocampo Players Info

Yancy Rozal de Ocampo (born March 11, 1980) is a Filipino professional basketball player who plays for the San Mig Coffee Mixers in the Philippine Basketball Association. At 6'9", he is a good outside shooter and a low post threat. He is also among the PBL's Top 20 Players of All-time. de Ocampo was the first overall pick during the 2002 PBA Draft and was the first-ever draft pick of FedEx as a PBA team. He is the older brother of Ranidel de Ocampo. Both played together with FedEx and Talk 'N Text. In March 2010 he was traded to the Barangay Ginebra Kings.

John Christopher A. Intal 

(born November 18, 1983 in Quezon City, Philippines), better known as J.C. Intal, is a Filipino professional basketball player. He currently plays for the San Mig Coffee Mixers of the Philippine Basketball Association. He previously played for the Air21 Express,Barangay Ginebra Kings and amateur basketball for the Harbour Centre Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball League. Intal played college basketball at the Ateneo de Manila University, which won the 2002 UAAP Men's Basketball Championship. he also played for Colegio de San Juan de Letran in his Highschool years as a Letran Squire. In the recently held 2011 PBA All-Star Game, he was chosen as a replacement to Mark Caguioa who went back to the United States that time. He has worn different uniform numbers in his young career, he donned numbers 7 and 27 with Air21 and also the numbers 81 and 9 with Ginebra.

Jean Marc Pingris Players Info

Marc Pingris was born on October 16, 1981 to Jean Marc Pingris, Sr., and Erlinda Prado. During his collegiate years, he would go to play for the varsity basketball team of the Philippine School of Business Administration. However, he started his career at the Far Eastern University, Manila where he was discovered.

He also played for the Cebu Gems in Metropolitan Basketball Association.

In 2007, Pingris married actress Danica Sotto, daughter of famous actors Vic Sotto and Dina Bonnevie.

Pingris was selected by the Air21 Express with the 3rd overall pick in the 2004 PBA Draft. The draft also featured two of his future teammates, James Yap and Paul Artadi from UE.

Pingris played a few games with Air21 prior to the trade that sent him to the Purefoods TJ Hotdogs.

He was traded to Purefoods after having played a few games with the Express. He was traded along with Egay Billones. In the 2005-06 PBA season, he was awarded with the Finals MVP in the 2006 PBA Philippine Cup as Purefoods defeated Red Bull, 4-2. In Game 2 of the Finals of the 2006 season, he scored 21 points to lead Purefoods to a 93-82 win. In the 2007-08 PBA Philippine Cup Finals, he grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds, leading to his new nickname, The Rebounding Demon.

When Purefoods center Rommel Adducul was diagnosed with nasopharynx cancer, Pingris was shipped to the Magnolia Beverage Masters for centerEnrico Villanueva at the start of the 2008 PBA Fiesta Conference.

Pingris played his first game for Magnolia as a starter, going up against his former team, Purefoods.

Before the 2009-2010 PBA season began, Pingris and Magnolia teammate Ken Bono were traded to the Burger King Whoppers for superstar Arwind Santos and San Miguel's (formerly Magnolia) 2010 first round pick.

In a Manila Bulletin interview, Burger King team owner Lito Alvarez further explained the trade: “The reason lang natagalan itong negotiation is we want a draft pick, not a player sa package because we already have 17 players including the three picks we’ll have in this Sunday’s Draft.”

Barely 24 hours after being shipped to Burger King, Pingris was released to the Purefoods TJ Giants after Purefoods agreed to surrender its first and second round picks in 2010 to Burger King.

Pingris' return to Purefoods was confirmed by board governor Rene Pardo in an interview with GMANews.TV: "We have agreed to trade our first and second round picks next year to Burger King for Pingris."

Burger King Whoppers' board representative and then-incoming PBA chairman Lito Alvarez said that he felt that the trade was good for both teams, as Purefoods needed Pingris more, while the Whoppers planned to rebuild with their future draftees.

In the Llamados' second game during the 2012 PBA Commissioner's Cup, Pingris grabbed five rebounds, making him the 42nd member of the league's 1,000 Offensive Rebound Club.

For all his hardwork and contributions in B-Meg's 2012 PBA Commissioner's Cup championship run, Pingris was aptly nicknamed "Pinoy Sakuragi".

The San Mig Coffee Mixers is a professional basketball team of the Philippine Basketball Association owned by the San Miguel-Purefoods Company, Inc., a company of the San Miguel Corporation. Its head coach is Tim Cone.
Before being part of the San Miguel Corporation, the Purefoods Corporation was once part of the Ayala Group of Companies. The company bought the Tanduay franchise prior to the 1988 PBA season.
Purefoods-Hormel Corporation was later bought by SMC in 2001 with the team retaining their colors. The team had used the product Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs for much of their history, deviating with the Coney Island Ice Cream Stars during the All-Filipino conferences of the 1993 and 1994 seasons, Purefoods Oodles (a type of instant noodles) in 1993, and their various monikers to match their corned beef brand such as the Corned Beef Cowboys, Carne Norte Beefies from 1997 to 1998, and as the Purefoods Chunkee Giants from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2010, the team was known as the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants. It is considered as one of the two most popular teams in the PBA.[1]
Arguably, the most popular Purefoods player is Alvin Patrimonio, who led the franchise to six championships in the 1990s and early 2000s, and was named Most Valuable Player four times. Patrimonio retired in 2004 to concentrate more on his duties as team manager for his team.
Their main rivals are the Alaska Aces and their sister team Barangay Ginebra Kings.
